Bayern triumph, Dortmund drop points in German Bundesliga

The Bavarians wrapped up the autumn championship ahead of schedule with a 3-1 win over Hamburg whereas Dortmund dropped points owing to a two-all draw at Hoffenheim on Saturday.Pep Guardiola's men overwinter on top of the Bundesliga standings thanks to an uninspired 3-1 victory against the "Rothosen".Bayern Munich needed some time to gain a foothold into the match meanwhile Hamburg staged a courageous performance against the German giants. The Bavarians had to wait until the 42nd minute before Mario Mandzukic broke the deadlock on home soil. The Croatian headed home an assist by Rafinha from the right wing.Seven minutes after the restart Mario Goetze doubled the lead from inside the box.canada goose jacket women The German international made use of Thiago Alcantara's set up to score with a turn shot.Bayern retracted with the 2-0 lead and that was how it came that Hamburg pulled one back at the 87th minute through Pierre Michel Lassogga, who slotted home Marcell Jansen's square pass. However, the front-runners destroyed all hopes of a comeback by Hamburg as Xherdan Shaqiri restored their two-goal lead during the stoppage time when he finished a fast break into the near post corner.Isuzu Auto PartsThus, Bayern stay on top of the standings with 44 points and a seven-point gap to chasers Leverkusen. Meanwhile Hamburg sit on 10th position with 16 points.

Juergen Klopp's men were unable to hold the pace as his squad share the spoils with Hoffenheim.Hoffenheim caught a brilliant start as Sven Schipplock opened the scoring with a lob to beat onrushing Roman Weidenfeller at the 18th minute. The hosts were not done with the scoring and doubled the lead at the 37th minute through Kevin Volland,Lululemon Women's Pants who had all time and space to curl the ball into the top left corner.Dortmund responded just before the break as Pierre Emerick Aubameyang capitalized on a moment of madness by custodian Jens Grahl, who fumbled the ball into path of Aubameyang. The "BVB" finally rescued one point by courtesy of Lukasz Piszczek, whose follow up shot restored parity at the 67th minute.Dortmund occupy third position with 32 points while Hoffenheim recorded their sixth draw to remain on 11th place.Wholesale Lingerie Sexy LingerieElsewhere, nike shox shoes fourth placed Monchengladbach shared points with Mainz following a goalless draw.Wolfsburg climbed into the top five as Stuttgart lost 3-1 to the "Wolves" in an entertaining see-saw match.Winless Nuremberg wasted a 3-0 lead within 30 minutes to tie with Hannover and Augsburg crushed bottom side Braunschweig 4-1.The following fixtures are scheduled for Sunday: Schalke host struggling Freiburg and runners-up Leverkusen encounter Frankfurt.

Damian Lillard, aka 'Silent assassin,' hits another game-winner as Trail Blazers beat Cleveland Cavaliers

Lillard was certainly a last-second marksman for the Blazers on Tuesday, calmly and confidently nailing a 30-foot step-back three with 0.4 seconds left to lift them to a 119-116 victory over the Cavaliers before 15,689 at Quicken Loans Arena. It was the second consecutive game-winner for Lillard — who hit a fadeaway jumper to beat the Detroit Pistons Sunday — and provided another remarkable moment in a season that continues to amaze.“It’s crazy that we’re pulling off wins like this,” Freeland said of the Blazers, who possess the NBA’s best record at 22-4.At the very least, it was a crazy outing for Lillard. Going head-to-head against another of the NBA’s marquee young point guards, Kyrie Irving, Lillard played one of the best games of his career, finishing with 36 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and one blocked shot. He made 11 of 23 shots, including 8 of 12 three-pointers, and flirted with or set multiple career highs.Lillard made the most threes of his career, tied his career-high in rebounds and registered the third-highest scoring output of his career. All the while, he became the first player to finish with at least 36 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and eight three-pointers since Jason Kidd did so on April 11, 1995. There were portions of the game in which Lillard simply took over — he opened by scoring the Blazers’ first five points, he scored nine consecutive points during one dynamic stretch in the third quarter and he scored six Blazers points in the decisive fourth.

But what made his performance special was the game-winner. And, truth be told, it shouldn’t have been necessary. The Blazers built a 114-105 lead with 2:00 left after LaMarcus Aldridge nailed a turnaround 14-footer, and it seemed as if the Blazers would coast down the stretch. But out of nowhere, Irving caught fire. He drilled a three-pointer with 1:34 left, drilled another with 1:04 left after Lillard lost him in the corner and added a three-point play when he was fouled on a driving layup with 33.8 seconds left. Then Irving tied the game at 116-116 when he drove into the lane — drawing three Blazers defenders — and dished a pretty pass to Anderson Varejao for a wide open layup with 7.1 seconds left.“We let them get back into the game,” Lillard said of a Cavaliers’ late scoring barrage that produced 12 points in less than 90 seconds. But in the end, the Cavaliers (9-15) left a little too much time on the clock. After a timeout, the Blazers in-bounded the ball to Lillard on the perimeter and cleared out of the way to let him work. He sized up Alonzo Gee, who was guarding him one-on-one,disposable wooden cutlery and timed his play just right, faking like he was dashing to the hoop before pulling up outside the three-point arc and launching a step-back three. He released the ball just over Gee’s hand and watched it drop with 0.4 seconds left.

Afterward, in another muted celebration, Lillard coolly flexed,Forklift forks flashed a menacing glare and bumped chests with Aldridge as teammates gathered around.“There is nothing to break down,” coach Terry Stotts said, when asked to dissect the winning play. “Damian had it going … he had a special night. I thought it was appropriate that he finished it like that.”After Irving missed a desperation three at the buzzer, paper drinking straws the Blazers had pulled off another dramatic victory, disposable paper cups improving to 12-2 on the road and 11-0 against the Eastern Conference this season. The Blazers’ 22-4 record is tied for the second-best 26-game start in franchise history, trailing only the 23-3 mark accumulated by the 1990-91 team. And while Lillard, who did a postgame cell phone interview with “SportsCenter” outside the locker room afterward, will justifiably receive much of the postgame hype, he had a lot of help. Aldridge continued his beastly play, recording 26 points,Lululemon Women's Pants 15 rebounds and four assists. Wesley Matthews made three three-pointers and had 19 points and Nicolas Batum overcame poor shooting (3-for-13, including 2-for-8 from three-point range) to finish with 14 points and nine rebounds. All the while, Freeland was an under-the-radar godsend for the Blazers, playing impressively in place of Robin Lopez, who battled foul trouble and sat all but 1:17 in the fourth quarter.

Free agents 2014: Tim Hudson agrees to deal with Giants

The San Francisco Giants won the World Series in 2010, missed the playoffs in 2011, won the World Series in 2012 and missed the playoffs in 2013. Their quest to continue the trend and win another World Series in 2014 took a major step forward on Monday with the addition of free-agent right-hander Tim Hudson on a two-year, $23 million contract.Hudson is coming off a devastating ankle injury, with a broken bone and ligament damage suffered when he collided with Eric Young Jr. of the Mets on a play at first base in July. His recovery has been going smoothly — and obviously there are few concerns about his ability to return to full health if he is getting a contract this early in the offseason.

Nobody’s health is really a sure thing at the age of 38, but it also is important to keep in mind that Hudson is dealing with a leg injurynike shox shoes rather than an arm injury, and while the right foot is his plant foot, it’s still a lot less worrisome than if he were trying to come back from a busted elbow or shoulder. If Hudson remains himself — a pitcher who held opposing batters to a .299 on-base percentage in 21 starts last season — the Giants have the makings of a downright nasty rotation, with Hudson slotting in behind Madison Bumgarner, who was fifth in the National League in ERA and seventh in strikeouts, and Matt Cain, whose 1.156 WHIP in 2013 was better than Hudson’s 1.Wholesale Lingerie Sexy Lingerie188 but who mysteriously staggered to a 4.00 ERA, his worst since 2006.In fact, Hudson might even be considered the Giants’ No. 2 starter. While Bumgarner was sixth in the majors in fewest bases allowed per inning this year, Hudson was 21st among pitchers who worked at least 100 innings, right behind Zack Greinke and Justin Masterson, and ahead of Andrew Cashner and Yu Darvish.

With Tim Lincecum remaining in San Francisco,Isuzu Auto Parts the addition of Hudson marks a significant improvement over Ryan Vogelsong or Barry Zito, with another pitcher still needed to fill out the Giants’ rotation. For the sake of poetry, say it’s Zito and that seven years after signing a contract with a former A’s ace that they were all but doomed from the start to wind up regretting, the Giants did well this time around with a former hero from the other side of the Bay.One thing that will not particularly factor into Hudson’s deal is the fact that San Francisco is the hardest place in baseball to hit a home run off a right-handed pitcher,Sexy Lingerie Factory with only 75 hit there in 2013. Hudson has surrendered only 220 home runs in 2813 2/3 career innings. Of the 187 pitchers who have thrown at least 2,000 innings since 1961, Hudson’s rate of 0.70 homers allowed per nine innings ranks 42nd.canada goose jacket women Bronson Arroyo, another rumored Giants target, is 185th on that list, with only Steve Trachsel and Woody Williams having been tagged for home runs more frequently.

Mortara takes sixth Guia Circuit victory

Edoardo Mortara defied the odds in the Macao GT Cup to roar to a triumphant sixth victory on Macao's 6.2km Guia street circuit here on Sunday. In a dramatic 12-lap race, the Italian thundered across the line more than 1.Authentic Replica lv monogram vernis handbags5 seconds ahead of Briton Danny Watts. The third place went to Alexandre Imperatori of Hong Kong, China,yibiao-lingerie who rounded out a strong weekend, but whose quest for second was thwarted by a backmarker in the closing stages. As the cars got away from a rolling start, pink paper straws pole-sitter Maro Engel got away well with Imperatori in hot pursuit. As the field charged round the famous Lisboa,www.i-fashion-handbag.com the front-runners raced up San Francisco Hill but a coming together behind saw New Zealander Earl Bamber pushed into the Armco by Stefan Mucke, with Tsuchiya Takeshi, Mok Weng-Sun and Carlo van Dam also caught up in the incident. The Safety Car was called out with Engel leading the field followed by Imperatori, Renger van der Zande, Mortara and Watts. As the green flags came out, Mortara thundered around the track which he has made his own. Engel looked all set for the win but a flat front tyre put paid to his Macao podium hopes and he retired.

That handed the race lead to Imperatori, but Mortara was up to third by the end of the ninth lap and going one better in the following lap.Buy cheap Coach Grade Sunglasses, Custom Fit Stripe Shirt and more. The penultimate lap saw him seize the lead, which he was to hold until the flag."I almost crashed with Imperatori in the first corner I almost crashed with Stefan in the second corner. I don't know how I ended up fourth as they were so much faster than me on the straights." said Mortara. "When Engel hit the wall then we were on the podium. Afterwards it was just a question of staying cool and focused and to look for opportunities. I had a pretty brave move at Hospital, but I had to try. It went right. I made a lucky, lucky, lucky move. One last lap, Danny was pushing very hard. I had to risk everything on that last corner at Mandarin.""When people say it's easy for me to win here, I think today you see how difficult it is. This is probably the nicest victory I have had here and one I will never, ever forget," added Mortara. As the only man to win the Macao Grand Prix twice having achieved back-to-back victories in 2009 and 2010, Mortara added the Audi R8 LMS Cup to his collection last week, which was his fifth on the Guia street circuit.

Patriots down, 10-3, at halftime

The Carolina Panthers defense won the battle in the first half and head into halftime with a 10-3 lead over the Patriots. The Panthers first touchdown came at 2:50 of the first quarter as Cam Newton hit Brandon LaFell for 9-yard score. The biggest story of that drive, however, was the constant fighting between Aqib Talib and Steve Smith. The pair got tangled up on more than one occasion. Talib was hit with a 15-yard unnecessary toughness penalty during their first fight, which brought Carolina to the 19-yard line. Eventually, Newton hit LaFell for the first score of the game. The Patriots looked bound to score in the second quarter but a Stevan Ridley fumbled stopped everything.First, Ridley was a big part in getting the Pats down the field. The running back had a 13-yard run, which brought the Pats to the Carolina 43. Tom Brady was then sacked by Star Lotulelei for a loss of 9 yards. Faced with a fourth-and-2, from the Carolina 35, Bill Belichick went for it. Brady’s pass was incomplete, but the Panthers were called for illegal use of hands penalty to keep the drive alive. The Pats got down to the 24,Food paper bag wholesale  where they were stopped again – this time on third down. However, Carolina got called for a face mask penalty, which moved the ball up to the 12-yard line.Chevron Paper Straws After losing a yard, Ridley fumbled. The ball was recovered by Mario Addison stopping the Patriots drive. The Panthers turned the fumble into three points on the ensuing drive to give themselves a 10-0 lead at 5:06.The Patriots finally responded with a field goal of their own, paper straw at 1:13. They’ll receive the ball to start the third.

Following Carolina’s field goal, the Patriots answered with a field goal of their own. With 1:13 left in the first half, the Panthers have a 10-3 lead.Tom Brady started this drive off with a 23-yard pass to Kenbrell Thompkins. He then hit Shane Vereen for a 17-yard gain.Following Stevan Ridley’s fumble, LeGarrette Blount got in the game. He helped get the Pats into Carolina territory and down to the 26. A Logan Mankins unnecessary roughness penalty, however, pushed the Pats back to the Carolina 41.Faced with a second-and-25, Brady hit Danny Amendola for 3 yards and Rob Gronkowski for 14. The Pats offense came back out on the field for fourth-and-8, but called a timeout and sent Stephen Gostkowski out on the field for the 42-yard field goal. The Panthers turned a Stevan Ridley fumble into a field goal and have taken a 10-0 second quarter lead.Following the turnover, the Panthers took over at the 13-yard line and Cam Newton wasted no time and drove 62 yards down the field. The quarterback hit Brandon LaFell for a 17-yard gain. Next, Newton did damage on the ground and ran for a 24-yard gain to bring the ball to the New England 30. Faced with a third-and-10, Newton’s pass fell incomplete, but Aqib Talib was called for pass interference. The Panthers were able to get five more yards and eventually brought in Graham Gano, who hit the 43-yard field goal.

Unfortunately for the Pats, most of it came from Aqib Talib and Steve Smith fighting or Cam Newton hitting Brandon LaFell for 9-yard touchdown. Carolina heads into the second quarter with a 7-0 lead. Both Talib and Smith have been jawing at each other for most of the opening quarter. Talib was hit for a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty, which ended up giving the Panthers great field position before their touchdown. The Patriots held the Panthers to a three-and-out on the opening drive.Nike Air Max Talib started and was on Smith. The cornerback had an impact early, deflecting a Newton pass on third down to force a punt. The Pats were conservative on their first drive, but were able to pick up two first downs. Shane Vereen got involved early and picked up the game’s first, first down. Tom Brady got the offense down to the Carolina 40, but a third down sack by Greg Hardy put the end to any hope of putting points on the board. The Panthers have struck first.Cam Newton hit Brandon LaFell for a 9-yard touchdown pass at 2:50 of the first quarter to give Carolina an early 7-0 lead.Newton jumpstarted the Panthers’ second drive of the game as things between Steve Smith and Aqib Talib got heated. The quarterback hit Smith, who was covered by Talib, for a 42-yard gain to open up the drive. The pass brought Carolina to the New England 42. Faced with a third-and-3, Newton connected with Smith, again, for a first. At the end of the play, both Talib and Smith got into a small brawl. Talib was flagged for a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty on the play. The flag brought Carolina to the 19-yard line.Buy Cheap Coach Grade AAA Handbags, Custom Fit Stripe Shirt and more.

Palmer throws 2 TDs, Cardinals send Phillips

Palmer throws 2 TDs, Cardinals send Phillips, Texans to team-record 7th straight loss, 27-24

The Cardinals turned up the defensive pressure and sent the Texans to their franchise-record seventh straight loss, 27-24 Sunday. Palmer threw two touchdown passes and Arizona held on despite a late fumble. The Texans (2-7) were without coach Gary Kubiak, who collapsed on the sideline against Indianapolis last Sunday night with what was diagnosed as a mini-stroke. Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips is filling in as interim coach.“All in all it seems like the same theme,” Phillips said. “Team is playing tremendously hard but not enough plays. One play here, nike shox shoes one play there, and they really dominated us in the second half on their defensive side of the ball.”Arizona (5-4) got off to a quick start when linebacker John Abraham knocked the ball out of quarterback Case Keenum’s arm and Matt Shaughnessy returned it 6 yards for a touchdown only 14 seconds into the game.“As a defense, we just told ourselves ‘17 is the max,’” linebacker Daryl Washington said.Isuzu Auto Parts “’No more points to be scored. Let’s play nasty, let’s play dirty.’”Keenum threw three touchdown passes, two on remarkable catches by Andre Johnson.

J.J. Watt forced two fumbles, recovering both of them for Houston. The second one set up Johnson’s 5-yard TD catch that cut the lead to three with 4:34 to play.“We made good adjustments,” Arizona coach Bruce Arians said of the second half. “The running game was kind of gone. We felt if we could get them in a one-dimension game we could get after the quarterback, and we were able to do that.”Palmer completed 20 of 32 for 241 yards.Wholesale Lingerie Sexy Lingerie Keenum was 22 of 43 for 201 yards no interceptions, but was just 7 for 17 for 42 yards in the second half.Arizona reeled off 13 consecutive points and Palmer’s 19-yard touchdown pass to Andre Roberts put Arizona up 27-17 with 6:42 to play. The Cardinals, coming off a bye,Lululemon Women's Pants had trouble holding on. Rashard Mendenhall was stripped of the ball by Watt in a crowd on a run up the middle and the standout Houston lineman recovered at the Arizona 5.On third down, Johnson gathered in Keenum’s pass and was able to get both feet inbounds for the touchdown. He had scored on a similar catch in the first quarter.“Those were two of the best catches I have ever seen in my life, canada goose jacket women” Keenum said. “You can’t even describe it. You have to watch it to see how awesome those catches are. “Houston got the ball back with just over two minutes to play but, at third-and-3 at the 35, Keenum threw two incompletions. Jerraud Powers knocked the ball away from receiver DeAndre Hopkins on fourth down to seal the win.

For the Want of Real Leaders, N.F.L. Culture Will Stay Lost

We’ll have time to ponder possible solutions when, in an extreme case of bad luck for the N.F.L., the Dolphins play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on “Monday Night Football.” That game will showcase the league’s two most dysfunctional teams. The Bucs are winless. Their players are ready to mutiny against their unpopular coach, Greg Schiano. Staph infections have swept through their locker room this season. Despite all that, the Dolphins probably would give anything to trade places with the Bucs right now. After all, there are proven remedies to the Bucs’ problems.Buy cheap Grade AAA MICHAEL KORS Handbags, Custom Fit Stripe Shirt and more. Win a game. Replace the coach. Disinfect the locker room. Move on.The Dolphins’ case is much more complicated.Roger Goodell, the league’s commissioner, has promised to get to the bottom of the Incognito-Martin situation. He hired what he called an independent investigator to learn the details, to uncover who knew what and when, Best Dsquared Long T-Shirts. and to find out how a player had come to feel so bullied that he left the team. Goodell would also want to know how it all could happen under the watch of coaches who often make it their business to know what’s going on in the locker room.Given the investigator’s findings, Goodell should be able to create rules to prevent a similar situation from happening again. If bullying is found, he should be aggressive about making changes, if only to protect the league’s brand. But will he? And if he does, when?Look at this quotation from Goodell: “We are changing the culture of our game for the better.” Sounds good, right? But he didn’t say that this week, or even this month. He said it in 2009 during congressional hearings as the league was getting pummeled for its denials about football-related concussions. It took the N.F.L. years even to acknowledge that head injuries posed a serious problem for its sport, and that was an issue dealing with life and death. So perhaps people should think twice about putting their trust in Goodell this time around,Sexy Lingerie Factory in trying to fix this problem that upon first glance seems ingrained in the league’s culture.

Looking to Dolphins coaches probably won’t help much, either. They can’t win here. Coach Joe Philbin should be blamed for encouraging aggressive behavior or turning a blind eye to it. If neither he nor his staff had any idea that Martin was feeling cornered by Incognito — which is a long shot, since coaches often have spies within the team to monitor team chemistry — those coaches should be blamed for their ignorance.welcome to high quality oakley Grade AAA sunglasses,Free shipping‎!And don’t expect Stephen Ross, the 73-year-old billionaire owner, to change a thing to bring more professionalism to his team’s locker room. He’s not around nearly as much as the owner Jerry Jones is with the Dallas Cowboys, and look how well Jones has kept his team under control. Less than two months after a Cowboy died after a teammate drove drunk, yet another Cowboy was charged with drunken driving early this year. So much for lessons learned.Unfortunately, there is only one sure way to rid a locker room of racial discrimination, bullying, extortion or whatever hazing-gone-bad the Dolphins may be guilty of — and that is to change the team’s locker room culture from the inside out. That would mean the players have to get on board. And that includes those players who came to Incognito’s defense. They called him a leader, a funny guy whose actions are just part of a team’s fabric.

But that’s expected. It’s what teams do, even in the face of a teammate’s bad behavior. Teams stand as one, bound by the same toughness and togetherness that Incognito was supposedly instilling in Martin. Teams tend to stay true to that code of brotherhood,Buy High quality Coach Grade Sunglasses, Custom Fit Stripe Shirt and more. even if it taints their reputation or possibly hurts others.Remember in 2009, when Alex Rodriguez apologized for doping? His Yankee teammates didn’t speak up or urge Major League Baseball to punish him more severely. No, they just sat stone-faced at Rodriguez’s news conference and listened to an admitted cheat. Good guy Derek Jeter, the longtime team captain, was front and center in the audience to show his support, even though Rodriguez’s confession tainted him and every other player in the game. In baseball, it was called having Rodriguez’s back.

Jimmie Johnson nears NASCAR title as Kevin Harvick wins

As Kevin Harvick streaked to victory when Carl Edwards ran out of fuel on the last lap Sunday, Jimmie Johnson streaked toward a sixth NASCAR championship.Johnson finished third at Phoenix International Raceway to widen his lead in the Sprint Cup standings to a sizable 28 points over Matt Kenseth, who finished 23rd, with only one race left. The season finale, and the last of the 10 races in NASCAR's Chase for the Cup playoff, is next Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida.Johnson kept his No. 48 Chevrolet among the leaders for most of the AdvoCare 500 despite two close calls that nearly sent him spinning out of control. But Kenseth's No. 20 Toyota was ill-handling from the start. Combined with a botched pit stop later in the race, Kenseth kept losing more ground to Johnson, who entered the race with a seven-point lead. The most points a driver can earn in a single race is 48. Johnson needs to finish only 23rd or better at Homestead-Miami to win the title, or 24th if he leads one lap or 25th if he leads the most laps.Johnson, 38, won his five NASCAR titles in consecutive years from 2006 through 2010.Buy buy cheap Bench Outerwear Yoga Clothes, Custom Fit Stripe Shirt and more. Next year, the Bakersfield native is moving to Stewart-Haas Racing.Johnson twice narrowly escaped major problems that could have hurt his title hopes. On the opening lap, his car was tapped by Joey Logano's Ford and Johnson briefly lost several positions.Bumped again on Lap 162 by Edwards, Johnson made a superb save to avoid slamming into the outside fence."As I saved it, the car pointed back at the fence and I thought I was going to hit it," Johnson said. Our store can offer buy Dsquared Long Sleeve T-Shirts, welcome choose! Defense the key as Atletico look to book place in Champions League last 16

Atletico Madrid want to keep the good times rolling when Austria Vienna visit the Vicente Calderon Stadium in the Champions League on Wednesday night. The side coached by Diego Simeone have so far produced their best ever start to the season with 11 wins from 12 matches in the Spanish BBVA Primera Liga and a 100 percent record from their three matches in the Champions League, including a comfortable win in Austria two weeks ago. That means a win in the Vicente Calderon, where Atletico have won every game, except the first leg of the Spanish Supercup this season, will not only assure their place in the last 16 of the competition,Our store can offer buy Dsquared Long Sleeve T-Shirts, welcome choose!Buy buy cheap Bench Outerwear Yoga Clothes, Custom Fit Stripe Shirt and more. it will virtually confirm their qualification as winners of their group.Simeone has appealed for the Atletico fans to again turn out in force for what is probably the least attractive tie of the group phase, saying that the support of the fans is vital to his side's success and a 53,000 sell out is expected in the Calderon."The fans are proud of the players and the players need to feel that affection close to them," commented the coach in the run in to the game.

Although most of the focus on Atletico's performances this season has been on their striker Diego Costa, who looks likely to be named in the next Spain squad, and David Villa, the fact is that the defense also has played a huge role in Atletico's results.Sexy Lingerie FactorySimeone has been fortunate in that a lack of injuries and suspensions have allowed him to play a basically unchanged defense in the majority of their matches and the back four of Juanfran Torres, Felipe Luis, Joao Miranda and Godin have presented rival attacks with few scoring options, as made clear by their weekend win at home to Athletic Club Bilbao, who were unable to get a single shot on target in their 2-0 defeat.Since Simeone took over as coach at the end of 2011,Buy buy high quality Coach Grade Sunglasses, Custom Fit Stripe Shirt and more. his side have managed to keep 50 clear sheets in 104 matches, taking a lot of responsibility off the strikers, although the club could be boosted by the return of Turkish winger, Arda Turan on Wednesday night.Nike Air MaxShould Arda return to the starting 11, Adrian Lopez may drop back to the bench despite a good performance at the weekend, where he could sit next to Leo Baptistao after the striker's recovery from an ankle injury he suffered around a month ago.

Two-time Olympic champion Wu Jingyu eyes "hat-trick" in Rio

China's two-time Olympic taekwondo champion Wu Jingyu, 25, on Monday vowed to refocus on her major 49kg category and try to achieve an Olympic gold "hat-trick" in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.Wu competed in the 57kg and only finished with a bonze medal at the 12th National Games here on Monday."I did not have enough time to lose weight in order to take part in the 49kg class. It is my first time to compete in the 57kg category, so it is hard for me in the matches," said Wu."But the result is acceptable. After all I began training for the National Games just one month ago. I am far from my top form," she added. After successfully defending her Olympic title in London, Wu did not take systematic training for more than half a year as she was busy with her college study as well as commercial and public welfare activities. She skipped the 2013 World Championships in July in Puebla, Mexico, where Chinese female players witnessed the worst-ever results with Ren Dandan's bronze in the 46kg event being the only medal earned in Mexico."We want Wu to compete in her third Olympics in Rio and she has also expressed her willingness to compete," said Cao Tao, vice secretary-general of the Chinese Taekwondo Association."She will turn 29 in 2016. Hopefully she can maintain her best form by then," Cao said. "Winning three taekwondo gold medals in three straight Olympic Games is a feat that has never been achieved before.China Forklift Snow Plough If she can set the record, her name will be written in the history of the sport forever."Since winning the gold medal at the fifth Chinese City Games, a quadrennial multi-sports meet only featuring youth athletes,Buy men Dsquared t-shirt cheap, Custom Fit Stripe Shirt and more. in 2003. The 1.68-meter-high girl hailing from China's Jiangxi Province has been a phenomenal figure in the country's taekwondo community. She almost swept all the gold medals in national-level tournaments she competed in and also claimed a series of international titles ranging from 47kg to 53kg categories, including back-to-back Olympics gold medals and two world titles.

"With Wu not competing in women's 49kg, all the other players felt the chance to snatch a National Games gold medal was coming," said 19-year-old Li Zhaoyi, newly-crowned titlist in 49kg on Sunday, which can be seen as an evidence for Wu's overwhelming dominance in the category. However, competing in the 57kg class turned out to be a brand new challenge for Wu,China Fork Carriage Bar whose current weight is merely 53 kg."Height and weight are my disadvantages, but I would not lose my fighting spirit, or I can never beat opponents one size bigger than me. It is much harder to hit the head of the opponent in 57kg than in 49 class," said Wu, who is well known for her expert axe kicks. The disadvantage in the size was not so obvious as Wu enjoyed easy victories in the first two rounds. But Lei Jie, who was once Wu's training partner and the runner-up at the last National Games, posed great threat to Wu."Lei and her coach are very familiar with me. And taking on Lei in training and in the semifinal of the National Games are totally different,China Forklift Rotator" said Wu who had to adopt a kick-and-run strategy but still lost 9-3 to Lei in the semifinal duel.In the bronze medal playoff, Wu edged her national teammate Hou Yuzhuo, runner-up at last year's London Olympics, at 5-4 to add a 57kg bronze to her medal collection."After the National Games, I will return to 49kg class and start to build up for the 2016 Olympic Games," said Wu.Bin tipper suppliers "In the 57kg here I am just a 'guest actress', but I can still benefit a lot from the competitions.""Wu is born for taekwondo with her smooth techniques, physical and mental qualifications and also her hard work," said a proud Cao. "Actually I am not worried too much about her form and techniques. As long as she can handle her personal life well, Wu will be still among the hottest favorites in Rio in 2016."
