Vietnam sets new floor prices for rice exports from February

The Vietnam Food Association (VFA) set new floor prices for rice exports effective from Feb. 6, reported by local Vietnam News on Tuesday.

According to VFA, in January rice export fell in both volume and value against last year. Vietnam exported 8.04 million tons of rice in 2012, earning 3. 68 billion U.S. dollars, according to the Vietnam General Statistics Office.
